So, the pumpkin and apple picking and trick or treating is finished. Now what can you do with your family? Here is a listing of events that we have compiled for November. Please feel free to let us know about any others that may not be listed.

HRM Teen Night: Glow Party – November 2; 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Hudson River Museum, Yonkers

This tween and teen night is only $4. Enjoy a translucent extravaganza, complete with glow-in-the-dark activities, art projects, glow fashion, and much more. Dress to glow!

First Saturday Art Workshop – November 3; 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Westchester Children’s Museum, Rye

All ages can drop in for a hands-on art workshop led by fine arts and crafts specialist. The cost is $7; $6 seniors; free for children younger than 1.

Westchester/Lower Hudson Valley LLS 2018 Light The Night® Walk – November 3; 5:00 p.m.

Kingsland Point Park, 299 Palmer Avenue, Sleepy Hollow

Light The Night® is a fundraising campaign benefiting LLS and their funding of research to find blood cancer cures. The walk is about a mile long and once completed, the kiddies have a dedicated kid zone and a fireworks show! If you are unable to walk, donations are accepted on the site through December.

Diwali: A Celebration of Light – November 4; 2:00-4:00 p.m.

White Plains Public Library, White Plains

A program with stories, traditional Indian dances, and other activities to celebrate the triumph of good over evil.

Shape Painting – November 6; 9:45-10:15 a.m.

Lil Chameleon, Tuckahoe

For Pre-schoolers and younger children the cost is $10. Your child will love painting with shapes and creating new ones. This shape painting craft can be used to help your lil one learn their shapes.

Thanksgiving Paper Mache Pumpkin – November 6; 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Creative Corner of Larchmont

Workshops are $40. Paint a 6 x 8 paper mache pumpkin and decorate it for your Thanksgiving Table. Class includes project and a snack.

Photos with Santa + Free Gift – November 9 – December 24

Cross County Shopping Center, Yonkers

Come and see Santa! Take photos and get a free gift. Santa will be available for photos and visits at his winter home, located between Gap and Bath & Body Works. Participants must purchase one of two photo packages for $39.99 or $49.99

Nature Origami – November 10; 1:00-2:00 p.m. 

Cranberry Lake Preserve, West Harrison

Create your very own frogs, fish, flowers, and other plants and animals out of paper. No experience necessary. All ages welcome.

The best place for players when they aren’t in school is a SPORTIME U10 or John McEnroe Tennis Academy Training Camp.

School Break Camp – Thanksgiving Break – November 22-23; Full Day 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Half Day 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. or 1:00-4:oo p.m.

SPORTIME Harbor Island, Mamaroneck

The best place for kids when they are not in school is a SPORTIME School Break Camp.
