Kanan
Kanan lives in Chappaqua, New York, with her husband, twin boys, (born in 2013) and an inordinate number of books, magnetic tiles, building sticks and blocks. Kanan was born and brought up in Mumbai, India but has lived the last two of her four decades in the United States, her adopted home. She has lived in New York, Seattle, Chicago and Portland over the years. Kanan is the CEO and Founder of a fledgling Real Estate technology startup. She and her team are creating efficient ways to manage and finance housing projects. When she is not working or spending time with her family, she loves to read, build pottery, and go hiking.
