Costco Mom Hour: Event Recap

A special thank you to Costco for sponsoring and hosting our Mom Hour event!

c4On November 4, Westchester County Moms Blog and Costco in Port Chester hosted Costco Mom Hour: A Holiday Shopping Event. Costco opened its doors one hour early exclusively for WCMB readers and their guests. Moms (and dads) who joined us were greeted by a complimentary breakfast of fruit, fresh pastries, coffee, juice, and water.

Teddy and Bear, Costco’s two huge stuffed bears, were on hand for photos and to “watch” over the breakfast table.

The first 100 guests received a swag bag full of goodies, like Kirkland Signature trail mix, a protein shake, Tide detergent, fruit snacks, granola bar, Mr. Clean, Pantene, microwave popcorn, and more! The bags were so full, and everyone who got one was excited to peek inside!

Costco hosted an awesome scavenger hunt, and more than one person was seen RUNNING through the store, cart and all, to try to check off each area as quickly as possible. Three lucky winners were randomly drawn at the end of the event, with two people each winning a $100 Costco Cash card and a third winning a year’s supply of Tide Pods.

Our shopping experience was magical: imagine getting to shop in an empty store with no lines at checkout? But the best part? We loved getting to meet and chat with so many local parents!
