I believe in giving back, and I will never forget the fact that when the pandemic hit and so many restaurants were struggling to stay afloat, the Uli family not only kept their doors open but their hearts as well.
Divino Cucina Italiana provided free meals delivered to the elderly. I came across them countless times on my social media feed, not promoting specials but asking for help to spread the word that they were here to help those in need. I wanted to show my support to a business that consistently showed up for their community.
A couple of months ago, I was looking for a great place to go for brunch in Westchester, and I noticed that Divino Cucina Italiana had just announced that they were now offering a “boozy brunch” menu. So, I figured it was the perfect time to check them out finally, and I have not been to a better place for brunch since. I also randomly pop in for the tiramisu, which is unmatched!
Needless to say, when the opportunity for the Westchester County Mom contributor team to come for a visit presented itself, I was thrilled!
The owners, Gino and Floria Uli, made every effort to comfortably yet safely create a get together for a group of 10 so that we could actually have a socially distant ladies’ night for the first time this year. While I thought that this would be a tough request, they made it seem effortless to accommodate. We enjoyed signature cocktails and sampled popular menu items.
Arancini: Risotto balls with a fresh mozzarella center and Pomodoro sauce.
Antipasto: Prosciutto di Parma, capicola, soppressata, peppered salami, parmesan, provolone, and pickled vegetables.
Calamari fra Diavolo: Calamari with garlic, kalamata olives, capers, Calabrian chili, white wine, and Pomodoro sauce.
The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the ambiance gives you the comfort of feeling surrounded by friends with a beautiful view. The dining experience at Divino is, in fact, divine. They pride themselves on offering authentic Italian dishes with a modern twist, and rightfully so. If the goal is to make everyone feel like family, they have succeeded. New contributors got an opportunity to meet the vets, and we all got a chance to step away from our busy routines and socialize with other mamas.
They offer indoor dining, heated patio seating, and a private party room fully equipped with open-air windows.
As the holidays are approaching and many people are looking for places to get together with family and friends, I would definitely recommend Divino Cucina Italiana. In addition to their capability to host holiday parties, they offer a customizable take-home Thanksgiving dinner, which you can order online or over the phone by calling 914-274-8501.

Keep an eye out for the new winter menu, which will be featuring items like this beauty!
