97th Annual Yorktown Grange Fair

September 10 @ 4:00 pm - September 12 @ 7:00 pm

The Yorktown Grange is excited to be “Getting Out and About at the Fair!”and enjoy a great time with friends and neighbors. Fairs are a sensory feast: the sights of the midway, the tastes, and smells of the delicious food, the sounds of fun and great entertainment. The perfect event to celebrate our “return to normal.”

The fair opens on Friday at 4 p.m. with our traditional Michael Anderson Memorial Senior’s Dinner. Rides open at 5 p.m. with a $25 wristband special. Have fun blowing the biggest bubble in our bubble gum contest and stick around to enjoy live music with local favorite band, No Options.

Saturday is jam-packed with fun, with the Annual Tractor parade, kids’ music with Beth, Scott and Friends, livestock showmanship competitions, canine agility demonstrations, audience participation contests and more. 2020 virtual fair “Battle of the Bands” stars Fortuna take the stage in the afternoon, with the Dude of Life Band, featuring Phish songwriter Space Armadillo, providing the evening’s entertainment.

The fun continues on Sunday with more livestock competitions, audience participation contests and, of course, rides and great food. At noon, Alien Paradox rocks the fairgrounds with their unique sounds from the 2020 “Battle of the Bands” and starting at 4 p.m. you’ll enjoy an evening of classic rock with Billy Joel Tribute band, River of Dreams.
