Join us for a Family & Baby yoga class – any family member or caregiver is welcome to bring a baby to this class. A second adult is welcome to attend free of charge!
Babies are incorporated into the movement and poses. Be prepared to work on movement, balance, strength-building yoga, and supported stretching and breathing work. This is a light-hearted, fun class where all levels are welcome. Accommodations are made for postpartum recovery and any of the baby’s needs throughout class.
Babies will laugh and cry, fuss and fidget if the baby needs to be fed or changed during class, no problem! You’ll notice during class that every baby will do the same! Adults stop and attend to their needs at any point and rejoin the practice when possible.
Yoga will help you feel centered, strong, energized, and at ease with your new baby.
Postnatal Mamas can attend classes as soon as they are medically cleared for exercise (usually 6-8 weeks postpartum).
You may attend up until the baby turns one year old. Twins are welcome. Older siblings are welcome if there are two adults present. Bring a blanket for your baby and a mat for yourself.
