The White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival (WPOAF) began in 1962 as a small art show featuring local painters and has grown into a show of juried artists and craftspeople who come from near and far to show and sell their art.
The WPOAF has become the largest source of art scholarships for White Plains High School seniors who are committed to continuing their education in the arts. Community-minded corporate sponsors provide financial support, as do local business owners and residents who make donations to become a Friend of the WPOAF.
The Festival showcases painting, photography, ceramics, glasswork, jewelry, textiles, and much more, and is a great place to experience art and shop for one-of-a-kind gifts and home décor. The event also features emerging artists, the artwork of our scholarship winners, a free children’s arts and crafts table, and unique food vendors.
