This workshop explores yoga postures for women that open hips and the pelvis and help the baby move into ideal positioning. You’ll learn breathing techniques that help calm the nervous system, and we will discuss strategies that help with each phase of labor.
Partners will be taught how to give hands-on support to help mom and massage techniques. Partners will feel much more confident and prepared with simple tools to offer loving support. Partners are provided with a hand-out that you will be able to refer back to.
This workshop is usually taken some time during the third trimester. This is offered once a month, and private instruction can be arranged.
Both expecting parent and partner should attend in comfortable clothing for yoga.
