Meet Angela

Motherhood to me is like trying to fold a fitted sheet: no matter how many times I got it “right” before, I struggle to remember how to do it again. I defer to Pinterest on how to make it look perfect, but ultimately end up with something that looks somewhat presentable on the outside while being a big ole wrinkled mess inside. As long as it fits in my personal linen closet, it’s fine by me.

I’m a working mom to my two year old son, Blaise and wife to my husband Michael. Both are the center of my world. Born and raised in Silver Lake until I was 14, I’m thrilled to call Westchester home again. After a few year stint in Miami for college (go Canes!) and almost a decade in NYC, Briarcliff just felt like the perfect place to raise my family.

I commute to the city everyday for a marketing job I absolutely love in the spirits industry. I’m a certified yoga instructor who thrives on healthy living and positivity – as long as I can have a glass of bourbon in my hand and a sarcastic undertone. What can I say, it’s my version of balance.

All in all, I take a pretty laid-back approach to life. I’ve made peace with the guilt that comes with not being a stay-at-mom. I appreciate how many people contribute to the raising of my son and absolutely know he’ll be better because of it. I’m truly grateful for the online community of moms who give and share so much. While I haven’t gotten the whole play date thing down yet, I really do feel part of a bigger tribe and hope to give back what I receive. Who knows, I may even share a life hack I find for folding fitted sheets.

Angela Bosco is a native of Westchester. She chose Briarcliff Manor as her home after too many hurricanes in Florida and too many people in NYC. She’s mom to her son, Blaise (2016), who’s energy she simultaneously envies and fears. She shares a love of adult beverages with her husband Michael who, like her, is in the spirits industry. A self-proclaimed expert multi-tasker, you can find her on the Hudson Line cramming podcasts, emails and breakfast while penciling in her eyebrows and trying not to spill coffee on her seat mate during her morning commute to the city. On her free time she struggles to choose between doing yoga, reading NY Times best-seller’s or watching all things Real Housewives: the latter usually wins out. In her 20s you could hear her asking when her life would begin- now in her 30s you’ll find her reveling in it-chaos and all.
