Late 2021 saw a boom of new Westchester businesses that we are excited to explore in 2022!

Apothecary: Just behind the beautiful red door, this shop offers an assortment of items that support holistic living. It is the newest addition to the O2 Living Sanctuary.

Town House: Located in the center of New Rochelle’s Art District, this restaurant also has event space. The historic building has been fully renovated and boasts two beautiful floors of dining and entertaining.

Transom Books: Even more reason to love Tarrytown! Located in the center of all the Tarrytown action, this bookstore is a perfect new addition to this charming town.

All Together Now (second location): Now we know what’s at the end of a rainbow. Toys! Owner Robin Buco has hit nostalgic gold a second time with another wonderful toy store for infants through teens. Her original store was opened and still exists in Mt.Kisco. (When you go into the Tarrytown location, my rainbow reference will make more sense!).

The Central: There is always an exciting new business opening its doors in Peekskill. One of their latest additions is The Central. Located in the historic Peekskill train station, it offers coffee, quick bites, and a fully stocked bar.

The Dog Haus: The “wurst” franchise has landed in Mohegan Lake! Enjoy epic hot dogs, burgers, 24 beers, and more at this new location.

Lost Borough Ice Cream: “Cream & Creativity” has come to Yonkers in a delicious way with Lost Borough Ice Cream. The ice cream is made on-site and consists of a rotating menu, including flavors from around the globe.

Bedford Candy Bar: Chefs and owners of G.E. Brown Fine Food & Provisions in Bedford have opened a new store right across the street. Bedford Candy Bar has it all; candy, ice cream, popcorn, chocolates, hot dogs, and a large serving of nostalgia. How is it that everything they offer seems spot-on-perfect? “We let our kids do the product ordering!”

Greca: The owners recently opened their second location in White Plains and brought mixologist Freddy Rodriguez. This fine-dining Greek restaurant offers it all; top-tier ingredients, a spacious and beautiful interior, mezzanine, and private dining space.

Happy exploring in 2022! What are your favorite new businesses?
