Mom’s the Word is Westchester County Moms Blog’s (online) book club. Our goal is to provide an easily accessible place to socialize with other ladies, take time for yourself, do something you like, and have some fun! The best thing about this book club is that it’s online and accessible at your convenience, so you don’t have to worry about fitting it in between soccer practice and piano lessons or last-minute babysitter cancellations. However, we understand the importance of in-person contact and making connections with other moms in our community.
We will be hosting our first official book club meeting at Anderson’s Book Shop in Larchmont on Thursday, February 27, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the book Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid.
Anderson’s has been filling the reading and gift-giving needs of the community for more than 70 years. This will be a great opportunity to check out their incredible selection of books, gifts, and toys. The staff at Anderson’s are always there to help you find what you’re looking for, even when you’re not sure what that may be. Their experienced staff are ready to help when needed, but are also happy to let you browse and explore the store. You can also visit their website and check out their event calendar.
